SPRING TERM:

Houses and Heritage - Exploring Property Styles, Fashion & Furnishing

10th January ~~~ Demonstration by Trish: "Floral Elegance" - based on local
NT property

 

24th January ~~~ Festive Meal (For Members, Regular Visitors and their Guest/s ~~ At The Horseshoes, Dorrington. Meet 7pm to eat 7.30pm

14th February ~~ Practical Evening: "Table for Two". ~~ Members to interpret this theme for Valentine's Day, using the inspiration from the January demonstration.

14th March ~~~~ Demonstration by Donna: "The Secret Garden"

PLUS CLUB COMPETITION ~~ “Spring, an Easter Arrangement”

28th March ~~~ Workshop with Guest Tutor/Demonstrator Jane Williams -- To make a wire framework for a Hand-tie and complete the bouquet with spring flowers.*** ATTENDANCE FEE £10 per person (+ any extra materials you my want/need to purchase on the day). Coffee/tea included.

 

11th April ~~~~~ Demonstration and intro to this term's theme: "Shipwrecks and Smugglers" by Barbara

 

9th May ~~~~~~ Practical Evening: Members to interpret the theme of Smugglers and Shipwrecks.

 

13th June ~~~~~ Talk and Mini Demonstration by Debbie: "The Calming Power of Floral Art - A Talk With Flowers"

SUMMER TERM:

"Along The Coastal Path" - Exploring Seascapes, Smugglers, Shipwrecks & Coastal Paths

"Celebrations, Crafts & Cooking - Exploring Life Below & Above Stairs, Crafts and Occupation"

12th September ~~ Demonstration and intro to this term's theme: "What the Kitchen Maid Saw" by Jan

 

10th October ~~~~ Practical Evening based on "What the Kitchen Maid Saw" demonstration.

Please note: This meeting also incorporated the Club AGM

 

14th November Workshop "A Christmas Creation" to create a table centrepiece.  With Guest Tutor ~ Sue Pearson (Click Here For Worksheet Details).  Club members, visitors, friends & family all welcome

 

28th November ~~ Christmas Demonstration: "The Christmas Eve Ball" - Guest Demonstrator Debbie Wellington.  Club members, visitors, friends & family all welcome

 

12th December ~~ Fun Christmas Social, Special Quiz with Club Competition

Competition to depict ONE of the "Twelve Days of Christmas".  You will need to specify which 'day' you have selected for your arrangement and for it to be brought in ready done.  There will be categories for novice and more experienced arrangers.
